We are all subjected to capitalist, colonial, imperialist, patriarchal, and individualistic paradigms. The legacy of these paradigms has impaired our ability to be present with ourselves, effectively recover and build, and be in community. 

LEAD THE WAY Launched a Sacred Space

As the world continues to experience crisis after crisis, leaders are left feeling empty, disgruntled by the lack of progress, lonely, and afraid of what’s to come. We often ask ourselves where do leaders, whose leadership is rooted in community care and true humanity, go when they are suffering and are empty? We decided to design that space.

This program was designed to call on leaders to facilitate imagine spaces that encourage the greater community to have a willingness to take responsibility for what we know and what we need to learn as we dream of what a just, equitable, and joyous world encompasses.

Fumbling Towards Community Care & Equity Leadership Program 

LEAD THE WAY launched a sacred space giving leaders the opportunity to explore the founding principles of how to facilitate spaces centering community care and develop an equity leadership framework.

This Program is rooted in grace, where you will explore how that shows up within self, and in our communities. As a result of this space you will be able to identify your relationship with grace and how you want it to show up in your leadership journey.

About this Sacred Space

  • This will be a small group of changemakers where we will explore the founding principles of how to facilitate spaces centering community care and develop an equity leadership framework.

    1 virtual 2 hour grounding workshop

    1 In-Person day retreat in Alexandria, VA

    Post-Retreat Virtual Reflection and Book Review

  • This space is for people who are new to a leadership role or want to transform their leadership, who may be experiencing burnout, whose work is focused in racial justice or youth development, people of color who are navigating oppressive spaces, anyone who wants to better serve their community but is mentally and physically exhausted.

  • Registration is $200

    This includes:

    -Virtual Grounding Workshop

    -In Person Retreat

    -Breakfast for In-Person Retreat

    -Printed Workbook

    -Relevant Hard Copy of Book used in programming practice

    -Post-Retreat Group Reflection and Debrief

  • You can break this into however many payments necessary. The total must be paid two days prior to the commencement of programming.

As a small organization of volunteers our sustainability is essential, and your participant nominations allow us to continue this work. Anyone you nominate will receive $50 off of their registration fee, and you will receive $50 off as well.

    Learn the best practices to how to facilitate as a practice of freedom and create spirited, wholistic, and transformational spaces.

Our deepest desire is to create a wholistic transformational experience for all those who gather. We consider and engage the fullness of a human in the design of all our work and spaces.
